IMPORTANT TIPS FROM YOUR GUIDES . . .

If you're coming with us on an overnight trip, don't forget the following items:

  1. RAIN GEAR!!  Bring a raincoat and rain pants or slicker, as well as a rain hat.
  2. Comfy boots for hiking, riding, and wearing in the mud in case it rains
  3. Jeans/Carhardt pants for riding
  4. Warm jacket (down, synthetic, and fleece layers all work well in the mountains); possibly long underwear--best for early June and September trips.  Temperatures can drop into the low 40's even in July once the sun goes down at high altitudes.
  5. Warm sleeping bag (20ºF or warmer).  If you don't have one, we'll provide it.
  6. Camera
  7. Clothes that you can get dirty
  8. Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses
  9. B.Y.O.B.!  We don't have a liquor license, so bring your own.
  10. Headlamp/Flashlight
  11. Extras:  Fishing Gear/Fishing License, Binoculars

Leave your nice suitcases at home!  Pack in backpacks or synthetic duffels.  We'll provide saddlebags for carrying water and lunches.
