IMPORTANT TIPS FROM YOUR GUIDES . . .
If you're coming with us on an overnight trip, don't forget the following items:
- RAIN GEAR!! Bring a raincoat and rain pants or slicker, as well as a rain hat.
- Comfy boots for hiking, riding, and wearing in the mud in case it rains
- Jeans/Carhardt pants for riding
- Warm jacket (down, synthetic, and fleece layers all work well in the mountains); possibly long underwear--best for early June and September trips. Temperatures can drop into the low 40's even in July once the sun goes down at high altitudes.
- Warm sleeping bag (20ºF or warmer). If you don't have one, we'll provide it.
- Camera
- Clothes that you can get dirty
- Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses
- B.Y.O.B.! We don't have a liquor license, so bring your own.
- Headlamp/Flashlight
- Extras: Fishing Gear/Fishing License, Binoculars
Leave your nice suitcases at home! Pack in backpacks or synthetic duffels. We'll provide saddlebags for carrying water and lunches.
